Urgent but not an emergency
Urgent care is for problems that need a doctor today but are not immediately life-threatening: high fever, persistent vomiting, painful infections, sprains, cuts that may need care and worsening chronic conditions.
When to call 112 instead
Call 112, the Turkish emergency number, straight away for chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness or a serious accident. Do not wait for a hotel visit in these situations.
What to have ready when you contact us
A few details help the doctor reach you and prepare:
- Your hotel name or address and room number
- The patient's age and any known conditions or allergies
- Medicines you are already taking
- Your travel insurance policy, if you have one
Travel insurance paperwork
After the visit you receive an itemised invoice and a medical report written in English by the examining doctor. These are the documents most travel insurers ask for when you file a reimbursement claim.
If your insurer offers direct billing, send us your policy number on WhatsApp before the visit and we will tell you whether it can be arranged.
